Well in a couple days Maybe longer I guess we will autopsy the Pony Cadaver. I hate to see all the work get eaten up in a 13 second run............

I guess I was expecting more of a ten second run but we were blessed with yet another mid track smokeshow(last season)! Gotta hand it to Boost for squeezing out a thirteen second run on a blown engine. THEM IZ SKILLZ

I'm just bummin' bout the whole thing. I hope that ya get another chance at this again this year. Don't be bummed bro. I am very glad for a few reasons. 1) I didn't oil down the back tires and hit the wall 2) I realized the possible limit of a stock 302 3) I got to make a cool video 4) Durst finally gets his wish to tear down my motor for me 5) Jeremy was very cool and towed me all the way back 6) I got to datalog the run 7) I got to feel a really sick launch 8) I may have found a free engine source in trade for advertisement All in all, it could have been a MILLION times worse! Like I mentioned before, the motor is about the cheapest part of the car

2) I realized the possible limit of a stock 302
good example of how psi does not reflect the amount of power your engine makes!

Sorry, just woke up... what do you mean by this?

I think you were making way more power then we both thought at 13-15 psi. You know how everyone says that psi is a measure of restriction and is not representitive of how much power an engine is making? You may be a great example of it.... but in a good way.... if breaking an engine is good....

If there are any salvageable parts in the motor are you wanting them Kurt? Who knows, maybe the block is still in good shape

Tomorrow will tell the tale. I decided to drive down and help Dursty get the motor out. Apparently he has the motor just about ready to be pulled out
